At a young age I started taking piano lessons and developed a keen interest in music. In recent years I have worked as an arranger and composer with different orchestras in the Munich area as well as the Budapest Film Orchestra. Since 2017 I have been studying musicology at the University of Music at Karlsruhe. While studying Music Informatics as a supplementary subject I was able to learn how to use many technical devices including software applications. After finishing my BA in 2021 and my MA in 2025, I am currently a doctoral student. My main area of interest is orchestral music, especially of the 19th century, as well as Russian music and performance practice. Through my various jobs as student assistant and internships, e.g. in music publishing, I have gathered extensive practical experience.<\/p><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column animated fadeInDown is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-custom-accent-color has-text-color has-x-large-font-size\" id=\"werk-2\">Composition<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>As well as musicology, composition is my second passion. The majority of my compositions is for orchestra but I have also written pieces for piano, string quartet and other chamber lineups. Also worth mentioning are two of my orchestral works which were performed in concert a few years ago.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column animated fadeInRight is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-custom-accent-color has-text-color has-x-large-font-size\" id=\"arrangement\">Arrangements<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Aside from composing my own music, I have produced arrangements in various contexts. With the help of various text books and copious scores I have been able to acquire greater knowledge in this field. My orchestrations of Sergej Rachmaninovs Pr\u00e9ludes, which are part of an ongoing project, deserve special mention.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns alignwide is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-28f84493 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column animated fadeInLeft is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-custom-accent-color has-text-color has-x-large-font-size\" id=\"notensatz\">Music Notation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>While working on my various occupations a good understanding of notation has proved invaluable. This pertains to artistic as well as scientific work, for example the writing of musical examples for textbooks or papers.
